What to Know Before Your Visit
At Earthen Grace Esthetics, your time is honored — and I ask the same in return. These policies are here to protect both your experience and mine, ensuring a peaceful, professional, and respectful environment for all.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.
This helps us start your service on time and gives you a moment to settle in, use the restroom, and complete any last-minute intake info. Your appointment time includes consultation, changing, and your treatment — and I want to make sure you enjoy every minute.
📋 Before your appointment
Avoid exfoliants, peels, or retinoids for 3–5 days prior
Skip makeup if you’re coming in for a facial (if you forget — no worries, I’ll remove it)
Communicate any health conditions or medications ahead of time (including antibiotics, Accutane, or blood thinners) or any changes to your skin prior to the service.
Wear comfortable clothing, if possible — robes and headbands are provided.
Hydrate well before and after your service.
After waxing, avoid sun exposure, hot tubs, and intense workouts for at least 24–48 hours.

💖 Sensitive Skin Welcome
At Earthen Grace, your skin is never “too sensitive” to be taken seriously. If you’re nervous or unsure about treatment, you’re welcome to book a consultation first. If I believe I can support your skin in a safe and effective way, I’ll invite you to begin services with confidence.
⸻
🌿 Cleanliness & Professional Standards
Your health and safety are my top priority. All tools and surfaces are thoroughly sanitized between each appointment. I use clean towels, gloves when needed, and only high-quality, skin-safe products.
Client Policies
-
Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early for your appointment. This ensures enough time to settle in, use the restroom, and complete any needed forms so that we can begin your service on time.
Facials are booked in 60-minute blocks, which includes your intake, undressing, and time on the table. If you’re late, it may reduce your hands-on treatment time, or we may need to reschedule if there’s not enough time to safely perform the service.
Running late? Please text me as soon as possible.
After 10 minutes late, your appointment may be considered a no-show and subject to the cancellation policy.
-
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. This allows me to offer the spot to someone else and helps keep the business running smoothly.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service and may require prepayment to book future appointments.
A valid credit card is required on file to reserve your appointment, and will only be charged if one of the following policies is violated. If your card on file is inactive or declined, the cancellation fee must be paid in full before rebooking.
Clients with unresolved fees will not be able to book future services until all fees are cleared.
Repeated short-notice reschedules may be treated as late cancellations.
To keep things fair and respectful for everyone, Earthen Grace Esthetics follows a “Three Strikes” policy:
• Your first late cancellation or no-show is forgiven as a courtesy — we all have off days.
• After a second instance, a fee will apply (50% for late cancels, 100% for no-shows).
• Upon a third occurrence, a fee will be applied (see above) and you’ll be asked to prepay for any future services, and booking privileges may be declined if pattern continues.
That said, I understand that life isn’t always predictable. If something truly unavoidable comes up, please reach out — I will always aim for grace and understanding where possible.
-
If you are unwell, please reschedule as soon as symptoms appear — especially if within 24 hours of your appointment. We’d rather you take care of yourself than risk spreading illness.
You must reschedule if you are experiencing:
• Fever, chills, vomiting, or diarrhea
• Cough, sore throat, runny nose, sinus infection
• Currently taking an antibiotic
• Skin infections (e.g., ringworm, athlete’s foot)
• A recent diagnosis of COVID-19, flu, or other respiratory illness (within the past 7 days)
• Someone in your direct care is sick with any of the above
If you arrive visibly ill, you may be rescheduled and charged a 50% service fee. We understand that symptoms can arise unexpectedly — and in these cases, we will always aim for compassion and may waive the fee.
-
Please text (617) 410-8983 as soon as possible. The more notice you give, the better we can accommodate you or offer the spot to another client.

When scheduling, please be mindful of your personal calendar and choose a time you are confident you can commit to. Honoring your appointment time allows us to create a positive, respectful experience for everyone.
